Lee, Me and Mariah Carey

I just got home from Mariah Carey's conert, and all I can say is......

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!

It was such a wonderful show, I finally got the chance to see my idol, hero, mentor, inspiration, fellow diva and goddess Mariah performing live in a fully packed arena!!! My God, she looks amazing, and off course her voice was very astounding, I can definitely say she is the DIVA of all divas, I'm only second compared to her...Lolz.

So yes let's start the story, I figured to tell the happy moments first and then the drama then back to the happy ones. I was very excited to watch the concert but actually I don't like the person I'm going with to see the show, he is a HS friend and his name now is Lee. Yes he is nice but goodness I am so tired of his drama and all that SHIT!

Okay so he was supposed to pick me up at 3pm at home, but then he called early in the morning and asked if he can pick me up earlier, like around 1pm because he said he wants to eat lunch first, so I said okay fine anyway we're going to church. I arrived from church at around 12pm and changed my outfit (I wore the MC shirt my husband bought me, and it feels mmm..mmm good! Lolz!). So yeah at around 12:30 I was ready and was waiting for him, then he called me up and said... "Mark, I just finished my laundry and I haven't even taken a shower yet, is it okay if I come at around 1:30pm?" so because of my nice ways and goodness I said "Oh its okay, take your time!" and ended that call. While waiting I was just watching TV then sang a couple of Mariah song to get me into the mood since Lee is messing up my excitement. I sang two party/dance songs, "Stay The Night" and "It's Like That", and as usual my performance was in the highest level although I was singing it for nobody else but me. Then I called my hubby and just did my sweet talk with him, who's really busy and was really tired from his job the past days, and probably he got tired also from what happened last friday the 6th! (Hihihihi!)

So yes it was way past 1:30pm and Lee hasn't arrived yet, then my phone rang "Fly like a bird, take to the sky....." and guess what? It was him, so I answered it "Hello? Where are you now?" and he said "Mark.... I'm sorry... But I'm just about to leave my place..." so again because i'm all good and nice I told him its okay... although in my head I was like choking him to death and stabbing him with Elektra's sai!! I really, really, really hate it when people make me wait after saying we'll meet up this time, I was never ever a follower of what we call "Filipino time" coz I think its really bad and an effing thing to do!!! He arrived at around 2:30pm and yes we went to McDonald's (Drive-Thru) to go get something to eat.

Now its going to be a 45 mins. - 1 hour drive because of the freeway traffic, so Imagine the book I can write with his drama. I really am tired of hearing the same old questions from him, like this "Am I really pretty? Alot of people say I am, but sometimes when I look at myself in the mirror I think I look like Ai-Ai!" inside me no you don't look like her you look worse! Then he said in a joking way "What if I steal your boylet? Why don't we meet up again sometime? Anyway Chris and I are not together anymore! Lets go out again, so I can find a new one!" and I told him "Yeah go ahead steal Matt! (As if!!!)" and then he laughed and said "I was just joking, I am not that kind of a friend! But he really is cute!" I showed him Anton through my cellphone and he said he is cute but I dont even intend to share him with Lee, I love Anton that much to give him away to someone like Lee. I am so so bad right now! But I am just being honest! I still have a crush on Anton and he still is calling me every now and then, but yeah he is really acting all good now but yeah I will miss him. Anton wherever you are I love you (as a friend! or maybe...hihihihi!)

We arrived at the venue but we were way too early so he said let's just go for a joyride, so yeah there were more talks but I don't wanna make you puke or something so I'll stop! The only joy there is the cute guys we see! And yes there's alot of them white hot hunks walking down the street!!! We stopped over at Smart & Final coz he said he needs to buy some things for himself, and my God he keeps on saying that all the guys are looking at him, and there's this one guy in particular who was really cute and he's working in that place and he asked me too get his number, I said "OH HELL NO!!!" then he laughed and said "Nevermind I think he noticed I'm looking at him but we did smiled at each other!" So I said "Let's go now!" So now I would have to end this Lee Saga, I'm all nauseous now! Lolz!

Now back to Mariah Carey, so yes we were in the venue and it was damn cold outside but its a good thing they let people in early, and yes the security officers are cute and one policeman is SO HHHOOOOTTTTT makes you wanna say "Gee officer I'm bad please arrest me!!" Lolz!!! The concert was supposed to start at 7:30pm but as usual the DIVA has some Diva tantrums, hehehehe... Chingy opened up for her which was enjoyable but after a couple of rap it was boring, the act was over up to about 8:30pm. Its already 9:00pm and Mariah was nowhere out of sight people were shouting and howling and doing the wave thing. at aroun 9:30 no Mimi yet, people start booing, I was so sad coz they're booing my idol and I told myself look at these people they are here because they are Mariah fans and why are they doing that? In all honesty I wanted to use my Storm, Ororo Munroe powers to shoot lightning bolts on them and freeze them to death. After the booing, Randy Jackson came out of the stage and talked to the public, and said "How my dawgs doing out here? (People were clapping and shouting!) I know you're all excited but the reason for the delay is because we're shooting a live DVD, because Mariah wanted you guys on the video!!!!" and then people shouted in all excitement, well I'm not excited because I'm a fellow Diva and I know that tactic she's doing! Lolz!!! So yeah the concert started at around 9:45pm... The show was fantastic, ethereal, awesome, touching, inspirational, and DIVAlicious!!! There was even a surprise guest, BoyzIIMen showed up, they are having a show around the area and knowing Mariah was there, they dropped in and did "One Sweet day" that gave me goosebumps, and now that I'm talking about it I still am having it. Her "ensembles" as what she calls her outfits were all great!!! We all know Mariah is such a fashin icon too! Her body was really toned and I like her gowns. She sang some of her hits like "Vision of Love", "Heartbreaker", "Honey", the gospel-tinged "Fly Like A Bird" & "Make It Happen" which was a favorite of mine. She always blow me away when she uses her high voice register and off the course the "whistle" she does so effortlessly! She ended the show with another fave "We Belong Together" and then as she says goodbye to everyone, MY MOST FAVORITE SONG "Butterfly" was being sung, and it was so magical... I was crying (tears of joy) suddenly out of nowhere it started to rain with purple and pink butterfly shaped glittery cut outs or whatever you call it. PERFECT!!!!!
